Yachiyo develops quality policies and works on of quality assurance activities, prior to Q (Quality) and D (Delivery).
Based on the Yachiyo quality policy, the systematic construction of quality assurance and on-site administration are adhered to.
Development of Quality Activities
Yachiyo works on constructing the company structure of “Uncompromising Attitude to Quality” on the idea that quality development results from on-site capabilities development. Therefore, field validation meetings by top-level executives are held at all the production site twice a year.
Efficient manufacturing capacity is promoted in all the sites including overseas production sites for Q (Quality stabilization), D (Delivery and installation normalization), C (Cost decrease) are considered as the best result.
Yachiyo’s QC (Quality Circle) activities started around 1970 as a self-management tool. As the activities are growing among the workers, they have been acknowledged at NY Circle activities since 1990.
Every worker has a quality, problem solving and improvement consciousness deciding by themselves, how to improve and solve the problems in order to create self-value of their working life in Yachiyo.
Open Discussion Inside and Outside Company
The NY circle was performed mainly by production departments, but it spread among technical, R&D, management and sales department as well. Furthermore, overseas office and client companies also adapted NY circle and now the activities have reached all of the domestic and overseas facilities.
As a result, presentation of the everyday activities, are held with domestic and world competitions. In the world competition, workers present their knowledge created which was created on site, exchanging with each other through the NY circle global events.
